I think it should be.

•September 20, 2009 • 1 CommentPlans are made… Tickets are purchased… We’re meeting in Denver, heading to Colorado Springs, then to Crested Butte, through Pearl Pass, to Aspen and back to Denver. It’s a trip with my brother who’s flying in from Washington state and one of my roommates from college who’s flying in from Texas. And, I’m driving out from Minneapolis, MN. Let the fun begin!

Fall Trip to CO
•September 9, 2009 • Leave a CommentIt looks like a trip to CO is shaping up for late September / early October. I’m hoping to take lots of pictures and videos. So far it’s a “go have a road trip, go hiking and camping, see autumn in CO and try to get stuck at least once” trip.
Here are some pics from a recent trip to the Boundary Waters in norther Minnesota. I’d love to get more pics like this one…
…but in the mountains!
Spring 2009 in Minnesota
•March 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment4×4 Weekend started in Washington state. It’s still alive, as a fun and casual blog. The Truck is now 3 years old. I’m hoping to have some more road trips in 2009 and I’d love to update more here as the adventures continue…
For now, I’m in the middle of brown and muddy season (err…spring in Minneapolis, MN). That sounds inviting, doesn’t it?!
Summer 2007
•June 13, 2007 • Leave a CommentWell, the feeling of Summer is here.
The official date for Summer to start is about a week away. I’m lovin’ the nice weather. I’m lovin’ the planning to be outdoors and thoughts about enjoying God’s beautiful creation and enjoying it with friends and doing some 4×4 stuff – be it camping, hiking, sight seeing, photography… or anything else that gets us all outdoors and more connected w/ nature.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything about 4×4 Weekend. The business is still on indefinite hold. The joy of summer and appreciation of a nice Jeep to enjoy the summer with is not on hold. I just got back from about a week in Minnesota where my youngest sister got married. So many friends and family out doing things and enjoying the hot weather enticed me to think even more about what I want to do this summer.
A few months ago I got my vanity license plates. They say, “4X4WKND” and are just the right amount of geek for me.
Hopefully I’ll post more here as I enjoy the summer. I’ve got a good camera and plenty of time to be taking pictures and spending on the stuff I like to do. If you enjoy this concept or have any feedback, let me know.
For now… Happy trails!
